Welcome

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Asalamualikum and welcome to you all, Brothers and Sisters what we have here is a home for Muslim poets to present their poems and have them heard or share poems of other poets they would like us to hear. All styles are welcome and Inshallah, Allah will bring from this much goodness and may we be of the righteous kalaf to the likes of Hassan ibn Thabit may Allah be pleased with him (The poet of Allah's messenger, peace be upon him). Please feel free to send in your poems written or spoken so we may post them. Become an author here and you can post them your self. We hope through these efforts to propagate Islam so that it reaches the masses, defend Islam and its people from the onslaught of those who despise it, and tread the path of those who preceded us in guidance. Please keep in mind to keep the poems in accordance to the Quraan and Sunnah upon the understanding of the Salaf of the Ummah.

Diminished

He said he came to advise
First he should have asked if it was true

I could see something else in his eyes
He acted as pure as morning dew

Sitting with his partner listening to a bucket of lies
I wish he never exposed his foolishness I should’ve withdrew

It wasn’t that he heard them that had me surprised
But that he sat to listen hoping it’s true

As if wishing for my demise
Just words of a known liar, only if HE knew

Somethings you just can’t hide
I could see him clear through

Diminished, just another fool answering the wolfs cries
Fools loosing their minds but blaming it on you

Remember our history and who was true in testing times
Knowing the truth but trying to deny, his animosity grew

Nothing any longer is he in my eyes
Just another chick that fell, thinking it flew

Loyalty is only to Allah and his Messenger chanting with cries
A word of truth used to cover the truth and behind it lye's what lies
A confused response from a confused individual, only if HE knew

Ignorant that he is ignorant
Of even the most basic functions of Islam

Yet getting up to teach
Continue to learn it is better, maybe one day you’ll reach

If so the case, where is the loyalty then
That Allah has written upon men

of the wife to her husband
and husband to his wife

The son to his father
and the friend to his friend

The Messenger even remembered the history he had with a stone
He used to sit on before he was driven from his home

Even after shown the arguments never end
So I listen with few responses hoping for this to end

Yet it is the hidden hizbiyah
that brought them together

In the name of dawa they say
but self promotion is what’s really at play

His first time in the field already ready to compromise
They gave him a minuscule role to keep him at bay

and now he thinks its all about him
I did, I went, I said, I,I,I all the way till the end

Just playing a role
a pawn in the game but thinking he’s king.

That’s how they get you to move,
my advice before you move first think

Love lightly, hate lightly
everything can change in an eyes blink

Past being able to give advice
no longer from me will he receive

In this dunyaa things never stay the same
Over a brother I once had, now... I grieve.
