A'isha; Mother of the Faithful (Allah be pleased with her)

A translated poem of our Mother A'isha May Allah be pleased with her, and curse all who are not.
Taken from: http://www.kulalsalafiyeen.com/vb/showthread.php?p=90670#post90670

O' Daughter of the best of people after our prophet

O' Daughter of the best of people after our prophet
To thy Virtue, the scale of balance got outweighed

Cherishing your status with wealth and dignity
When for the prophet you were preferred

When Allah wanted to keep His doctrine
Through Sunnah and Qura’an

Upon you wisdom He bestowed
honoring his prophet a generous reward

with a virtuous heart that attainth
high ranks of knowledge and faith

Keeping our prophet’s heritage
that guides us in every age

though young and novice you were
but known for your eloquence everywhere

Allah wills you to be the solace
For his beloved‘s heart and conscience

to you the prophet was passionate and kind
Which spiteful people had annoyed

a salander was invented , and I don’t mean to quote their saying
"By thy life, is but out of grudging" !

Malevolent people climbed the rope of lies
So it collapsed without solid structure

For your sake a holy verse was revealed
Absolving you from any false deed

Our mother, you remained in the guidance light
Preferred as the best of women for your insight

By your truthful speech many scholars learned
And many others from your faith source sipped

This poem, O Symbol of every virtue
with pearls was composed for you

In glamour should it shine ,and splendor
it will be for love to Allah and His Messenger

Freedom

Let me tell you,
This is a free land, an example to all
Proclaiming to all nations to follow their call
So listen up, maybe you’ve missed out on them all

The free-doom of speech,
It is the freedom to articulate what you want to say
But it really means, “We will keep a close eye on what you say”
You might get into trouble for what you say,
With another man like you, just ’cus he does not like what you say
So it is frankly, free-doom I would say

Oh, this is a good one, Free-doom for women,
It is the liberation of women from the clutches of men,
So that women can now wear anything they are freely given
The less they wear, the more FREE they become,
For whom you thought? It is for MORE men

You women, are free of the shackles of your men,
Those men who are supposedly, taking care of your needs,
Looking out for your wellbeing, and protecting you from other men
When you get married, you change your last name,
Since you have free-dumb, so now you become the property of another

No!!! Now you women are TRULY free,
You can go wherever you want, exposing yourself to true free-doom
So now, more than one man can enjoy you more,
You are free to express your mind,
So, more men have lots more entertainment than just one
You can now wear whatever you want,
The less you do, the more exciting it becomes

More Free-dumb for women,
So they have liberated you and freed you O’ women
Provided you with all of this, even picked out the choices,
So that it’s more easy for you to choose your free-dumb
No they’ve matured you and tamed you to accept free-dumb,
Now the bait is more easier to steel from

Free-doom of religion,
Free, it is to practice your religion,
so long as you follow “their religion”, oops, I mean their culture and way of life first
So what is their way of life? It is to be a man and the woman of the land first,
Then you may choose from the religions they allow,
And don’t get me wrong there is plenty to go around.
The bottom line is their religion has plenty to choose from
Hey, guys there is enough of free-dumb, so don’t be shy

It Just Is...

As warm as a baby's first breath
Much like in autumn at noon,
It Just is...
Nothing in reality's "TOO LATE", or "WAY TOO SOON"
Islams the gate way to Sakina, so dream the right deen,
Dihkru Allah all through the day, and what you strive for will be seen

Stare

Stare
You stare at me curiously
You stare at me with animosity
You stare at me pointedly
My Hijab, it's my identity
But, you've already judged me
My body, is not a commodity
But, you've already categorized me

Let me explain to you what you're unwilling to see
I wear it for it was God's decree
I wear it for my modesty and chastity
It was my choice, and no my parents didn't make me
And yes I'm educated, in Islam it's my duty
Real freedom is being judged on your personality and not if you dress reveilingly
It's being judged on the intellegince of your mind and not the size of your behind
It's being judged on the content of your character not on your body in a magazine making paper

So go ahead and stare at me
I don't need to compromise myself to win popularity
My purpose in my life is to worship He who has created me
Not to please someone that was created by He
So please, go take a look at a mirror
Maybe the image of someone whose been truly oppressed will be clearer

Kalamullah

O how foolish I have been
blind to the clear reality
ignoring the pearls that are cradled between it’s pages
each page turn leaving you in complete awe
these are treasures that have been gathering dust on our shelves for far too long
when will we awaken from this slumber
we’re running after paper with heads of queens
when real value lies in the papers engraved with these beautiful truths
centuries have passed with it’s teachings in motion on the limbs of the faithful
not poetry or magic but greater - moving grown men to tears
reminding them of the most merciful who will protect them from all their fears
unmatched in it’s sheer eloquence and beauty
passing on it’s messages is every Muslim’s duty
living by it’s rulings is the way to salvation
standing by it’s principles means victory for this nation

Submit

Are you that ashamed and weak
That all it takes is for someone to call you a freak
And you forget how to simply speak
About the truth that was sent down to the mountain’s peak
The words of Allah you’d rather tweak
Sending you down a losing streak
For Allah’s sake would you not turn the other cheek
His rules laid out as clear as a river creek

Our sins we are told to minimize
Instead we speak lies and break ties
Using this dunya as a disguise
As if you could deceive The Most Wise
For when it comes time to say your goodbyes
Your good deeds will be your only allies
All you once loved now you despise
Begging to see one last sunrise
The time has come for your demise

All through your body runs the fear
Because its quiz time from munkar and nakeer
Trying to fight so they don’t come near
Their questions strike you like a warriors spear
A minute now feels like a light year
Into hells cages your soul disappears
Unlike the green-winged souls of your pious peers
Excuses you spit out faster than an auctioneer
Didn’t help you get up here where life is perfect and mere

Now tell me was it worth it
Or are you still too bold to admit
That when you had the chance you should have quit
Thrown all your sins and doubts into a fire pit
And found the strength to submit
