The Fly

A wisdom taken from an Arab poet; a verse about not responding back to the ignoramuses and foolish from amongst men (not a direct translation of the verse but a reflection of its wisdom).

Should I swat every time the fly flies by

If so then the fly in my eye has a place that is high

أو كلما طَنَّ الذبابُ طَرَدْتُه.................... إنّ الذبابَ إذاً عليَّ كريمُ
